Alegron has opened favourite in the Lexus Archer Stakes
Alegron heads the Ladbrokes.com.au all in market for the Archer Stakes (2500m) this Saturday at Flemington.
The race is a last ditch attempt for runners to get into the Melbourne Cup final field and there are a host of runners nominated that need to win. Alegron is favourite at $3.50.
Surefire is on the second line of betting at $5, clear of Interpretation at $6 with Makram the only other runner at single figures, sitting at $9.
