Star filly heads odds in wide open Thousand Guineas field

Coeur Volante just holds the call with Ladbrokes.com.au for the Thousand Guineas (1600m) this afternoon at Caulfield.

The Mike Moroney trained filly is a few weeks between runs since a dominant win in the Prelude and looks as if 1600m should be okay. In an intriguing race, she holds the call, just, at $4.20.

Unbeaten filly Skybird is on the second line of betting at $4.60 alongside the well tried Joliestar. Kimochi is at $8.50 and the only other runner at single figures.
