Sydney Cup hopefuls step out in the Chairman’s Quality

The enigma that is Benaud heads the Ladbrokes.com.au market for the Chairmans (2600m) this Saturday at Randwick in what is a key lead up towards the Sydney Cup next week.

The four year old went within a lip of winning the Australian Derby this day last year but fast forward 12 months, he hasn’t really gone on with it but the market says he is the one to beat this Saturday, sitting at $7.

He sits at the top of betting alongside Almania, with Manion Cup winner Timour being well tried, in a point from his opening price of $9.50. Stockman is the class of the field and is rock solid at $9.
