Sydney raider heads odds in the Coonabarabran Cup

The Paul Messara trained Freedom Square heads the Ladbrokes.com.au market for the feature race at Coonabarabran this afternoon, the Coonabarabran Cup (1600m).

The gelding has been strong in two runs back from a spell, both at metro level, so he looks well placed back to this level and the market agrees, having him as a $3.80 favourite after opening $3.90 and touching $3.60.

Beckford has been the early firmer to beat him though. He sits at $4.00 and has firmed in a full point. Topweight is High Court and he remains rock solid at $5.50.
