A punter has placed a bet to win $1,800,000 on today’s Melbourne Cup which is the biggest single collect riding on this years edition of the race.
The bet came at the Call Of The Card on Monday where the punter place a $20,000 bet on Melbourne Cup 2022 outsider Numerian to win the race at odds of $91 with bookmaker Woodcock Racing.
Numerian has been well supported in the last 24 hours and is now into a much shorter price of $41 and continuing to firm.
International raider Deauville Legend remains the short priced favourite for the race at $3.50 with all other runners in double figures.
