A second multi-million dollar colt has been sold at the Australian Easter Yearling Sale in Sydney.
A colt by Fastnet Rock was knocked down to Emirates Park for $4 million on Wednesday, a day after Black Caviar’s half-brother fetched a southern hemisphere record $5 million.
The yearling is out of River Dove, a Group One winner of the Oakleigh Plate.
Emirates bloodstock manager Trevor Lobb said he believed the colt was the pick of the sale.
“He’s a great athlete, a great walker and he has a great attitude,” Lobb said.
Emirates Park is the Australian operation of Dubai businessman Nasser Lootah.
