Gosford has become the latest casualty of the wet weather in NSW with Thursday’s meeting postponed following a track inspection on Wednesday.
The NSW metropolitan meeting at Canterbury on Wednesday was also postponed after heavy rain fell in Sydney overnight.
Racing NSW stewards inspected Gosford, on the NSW central coast, and ruled the surface was unsuitable for racing.
A total of 104mm of rain has fallen at Gosford since 7pm (AEST) on Tuesday.
