Adelaide Crows fans might want to look away now, especially those supporters who like their racing and believe in superstitions.
The Crows are set to take on Geelong in a blockbuster preliminary final tomorrow night and one Adelaide fan was quick to find two ‘omen’ bets at Lismore and Hawkesbury today.
Thursday best bets for @Adelaide_FC fans.
Lismore 4-2 Ready For Danger
Hawkesbury 6-5 Grand Finalist #gocrows#wepuntasone

Here’s where it gets a little spooky.
Ready for Danger jumped as a $3.50 fixed odds favourite in the fourth race on the Lismore card. What number does former Crow, now Cat, Patrick Dangerfield wear? 35 of course.
Unfortunately for Crows fans, Ready for Danger made no impression during the race and finished at the back of the field.

The second omen bet of the day was a $1.40 favourite in the 6th race at Hawkesbury. Grand Finalist jumped as the $1.40 favourite but once again punters did their dough with the well fancied runner unable to register a place in the 1300m race.
The ominous sign for Adelaide supporters is that they’re the $1.40 favourites when they host the Cats at Adelaide Oval tomorrow night.

With a host of non-competitive games already during the AFL Finals series let’s hope these two omen bets are off the mark!
