Jockeys have hit out at the Eagle Farm track after Race 1 on the card with Melbourne Cup winner jockey Kerrin McEvoy going as far as saying its the worst track he has ever ridden on.
Kerrin McEvoy has stated that the Eagle Farm track is “Worst track I’ve ever ridden on.” whilst record breaking QLD jockey Jeff Lloyd has said it is racing like a Heavy 20.
The Eagle Farm track is rated a heavy 8 despite no rain falling in the past week. This poses the question if the Stradbroke Handicap meeting needs to be moved?
