The World Horse Racing authority has taken a liking to our super sprinter NATURE STRIP (Nicconi-Strikeline).
On Wednesday afternoon, it posted on social media the question: who would win between Nature Strip and the wonder European sprinter BATTAASH (Dark Angel-Anna Law) over 5 furlongs (1000m).
This is a clear acknowledgement that Australia’s Nature Strip is considered globally to be one of the two best sprinters on the planet.
The question went up on their Twitter account where 32,000 racing fans from all over the world can vote.
Battaash brilliantly won the other day at Goodwood taking out the famous Gr 2 King George over 1000m in a stunning 55.62sec.
He had also won the 2017 & 2018 & 2019 versions of the King George rather handsomely. In 2020 he strolled in with the 1000m Gr 1 King Stand Stakes.
He is sooo fast and just as strong.
But what would he do if he couldn’t lead Nature Strip?
Would he be just as dominant?
Nature Strip for Rosehill trainer Chris Waller has won 14 races thus far and $5,144,035 in prizemoney.
That will no doubt increase enormously after this year’s $14million The Everest at Randwick in October in which his lead-up runs will include the Concorde Stakes and Premiere Stakes.
