Classique Legend sat just off the speed in Trial 1 at Randwick this morning before rounding up the field to put pay to them easily (time of 58:49) which included a strong group of horses including G1 winner Home Of The Brave.
Classique Legend has already secured a spot in The $14m Everest and is currently an $8 chance in Everest odds.
A winner of three of his four career starts, Classique Legend won the G2 Arrowfield Sprint during the Autumn and is set to return in next weekends $500,000 G2 The Shorts.
Perhaps the best indication will come with Kerrin McEvoy’s decision as he will have a choice of riding two time Everest winner Redzel or Classique Legend in the race.
