There were dramatic scenes in the UK overnight which saw odds-on favourite Nayati score the most unlikely of wins in a juvenile hurdle race at Ascot.
As the six-runner field approached the final flight in the the 3200m event the race looked between Et Moi Alors and long-time leader Harmoniseapproaching, but what happened next left punters stunned.
Harmoniseapproaching had been traded at £1.03 in-running before falling and bringing down Et Moi Alors who had also been matched at £1.13.
Oistrakh Le Noir then looked to have the race sewn up and had been matched at £1.06 only to be collared in the final strides by the pre-race favourite.
Incredibly, Nayati had £128 matched at the maximum price of £999 in-running.
Thankfully all horses and riders emerged unscathed from the dramatic finish to the race.
