Punters are calling a race at Beaudesert on Saturday the worst protest ever upheld.
A punting group on X (Twitter) has labeled the third race on Saturday’s Beaudesert card as as arguably the worst upheld protest ever after jockey Jag Guthmann-Chester was able to convince stewards his mount ‘Quade’ would have gotten the better of pre-protest winner Beachside Babe despite the winner comfortably holding off the second horse eased down over the line.
