Four high-profile Australian jockeys are set to make flying visits to ride in the Group One Singapore Derby at Kranji.
William Pike, Tommy Berry, Ben Melham and Glen Boss have all been granted one-day visiting jockey’s licences from the Singapore Turf Club to ride at Sunday’s meeting featuring the Singapore Derby.
Berry and Boss will ride Heliosphere and Circuit Mission respectively in the Derby for trainer Lee Freedman while Pike is booked for King Louis for trainer Ricardo Le Grange.
Melham will ride the Michael Clements-trained Eye Guy.
