Black Caviar’s daughter Oscietra has made an impressive first public appearance, leading all the way to win a jump-out at Flemington.
The two-year-old filly is the first foal from the champion mare Black Caviar who was undefeated in her 25 starts.
Ridden by Black Caviar’s regular jockey Luke Nolen in Friday’s 800m hit-out with her group of owners watching on, Oscietra began quickly to lead the five-horse heat and was never headed in a performance that pleased trainer David Hayes.
