Chain Of Lightning, fresh off her TJ Smith Stakes triumph, is set to grace the G1 Golden Jubilee Stakes over 1200 metres at Royal Ascot.
However, before her international debut, she’ll hit the auction block in May at the Magic Millions broodmare sale.
“She’s going to the broodmare sales in May and we’ve accepted an invitation to Ascot, so she’ll be sold under that proviso at the Magic Millions broodmare sale,” Moody said.
Trainer Peter Moody, famed for Black Caviar’s Ascot success, remains uncertain if he’ll accompany her to England, pending the sale outcome.
Bred by Stuart Ramsey, Chain Of Lightning boasts an impressive racing record, including Stakes victories.
With earnings exceeding $2.67 million, her potential All Aged Stakes start could further bolster her value.
Moody eyes Brisbane and Adelaide options for TJ Smith Stakes third-place finisher I Wish I Win, eyeing the G1 Doomben 10,000 in May.
