Williams partnered with Wall Of Fire in a canter on Tuesday with trainer Hugo Palmer confirming the Melbourne Cup booking later that evening.
Wall of Fire flashed home to run second in the Group 2 Herbert Power Stakes earlier this month and currently sits in 29th position in the Melbourne Cup order of entry.
Wall of Fire is currently on the fourth line of betting in the Melbourne Cup at $11.
