Talented galloper Briasa is the Ladbrokes.com.au favourite for the feature race at Newcastle this afternoon, The Hunter (1300m).

The Team Hawkes trained four year old has been slowly going through the grades but no place to hide this afternoon. That said, the market is gravitating towards him, sitting as a $2.70 favourite.

Hot on his heels is Koscisuzko winner Far Too Easy, who is at $3.50, with the class of the field being Private Eye, and he’s rock solid at $6 with online betting apps.
