Exciting three-year-old short odds in the Spring Stakes at Newcastle

Alabama State is favourite with Ladbrokes.com.au for the Spring Stakes (1600m) this afternoon at Newcastle.

The Jack Pilkington trained three year old was very good in defeat in the Four Pillars last time out after covering ground and is favourite to bounce back. He sits at $2.80.

The Three Hundred, looking to make it three on the bounce, is on the second line of betting at $4.20, with Snitzanova at $5.50 with betting sites in Australia.
