In what could be a new world record, female jockeys have ridden the card at the past five Carnarvon meetings in WA.
Racing Journalist Jay Rooney published on twitter that the last thirty races at WA racecourse Carnarvon have been won by female jockeys with fourteen female jockeys contributing to the winning streak.
Carnarvon hosts another meeting today and the streak could certainly continue with female jockeys dominating the markets for the majority of races on the card.
The club has made a submission to the The Guinness World Records in relation to female jockey wins in a row.
