The family of Winx has a new addition with Vegas Showgirl delivering a half sister to the champion mare.
The Snitzel filly was born late on Saturday night, hours after Winx made a triumphant return to the track in the Group Two Warwick Stakes.
Bred by John Camilleri’s Fairway Thoroughbreds, the filly is a full sister to El Divino who runs in Saturday’s Run To The Rose at Rosehill.
The Gai Waterhouse-trained El Divino is unbeaten in two starts and tuned up for his return with a track gallop at Randwick on Saturday.
Trainer Chris Waller plans to start Winx in the Chelmsford Stakes at Randwick a week later.
