Hey Fat Cat showcased his ability with impressive wins at Sale and Sandown earlier in the year before competing in a series of challenging Group races in February.
Laing expressed satisfaction with the gelding’s condition following a brief respite and confirmed his participation in the upcoming $500,000 3YO Sunlight Classic at Flemington on March 30.
While Hey Fat Cat’s future remains undecided, Laing remains optimistic about the gelding’s prospects, whether it be in Hong Kong, Sydney, or Adelaide.
