Katherine Coleman is on the cusp of her ‘dream come true’ as she sets to join Peter Moody as a co-trainer for the upcoming racing season starting August 1.
The official announcement of this partnership has been eagerly anticipated, with all eyes on the necessary clearances from Racing Victoria.
The rising trainer shared her excitement for this new chapter in her career.
“Obviously it’s a massive opportunity for someone like myself. Couldn’t be more thankful for the Moody family and also all our clients and everyone involved in the stable,” Coleman told racing.com.
“It’s a dream come true for me.”
Coleman, who has been an integral part of Moody Racing for over a decade, recently applied for her trainer’s licence with Racing Victoria, making the official announcement of her partnership with Moody imminent.
“I’ve applied for my licence with Racing Victoria, so once that’s granted, fingers crossed in the next few months, we will be able to go into partnership on the first of August.”
