Kerrin McEvoy thankful for Melbourne Cup win

Kerrin McEvoy has taken to twitter to thank all those who sent him well wishes following his win onboard Almandin in yesterday’s Melbourne Cup.

Tweeting a picture of the cup itself on Wednesday morning, McEvoy thanked his wife and family along with owner Lloyd Williams and Robert Hickmott for giving him the ride on the Cup winner.

Kerrin McEvoy will reflect on his second Melbourne Cup win at an official event at Crown on Wednesday.
