One of the key runners in Saturday’s The BMW field, Our Ivanhowe, is set to be scratched from the race after failing to pass a fitness test.
Our Ivanhowe showed signs of lameness in his off-foreleg following his win in the Group One Ranvet Stakes last Saturday.
A Racing NSW Senior Veterinarian examined 7-year-old and ruled it is not fit to take its place in the field for Saturday’s The BMW.
Our Ivanhowe was the $4.20 second favourite in betting.
