Gai Waterhouse has scratched champion 3YO Manhattan Rain from the Danehill Stakes at Flemington, Gai wasnt happy with the 3 year olds mid week gallop and decided with the owner whether to race the colt or not, the decision was unanimous and thus has been scratched from the race.
Manhattan Rain will now get ready for the Guiness Prelude in 2 weeks time.
