Last years Melbourne Cup winner Almandin could head to next weekends Zipping Classic if the horse pulls up okay following his run in this years edition of the race which was won by Rekindling.
Almandin jumped as second favourite in Tuesday’s Melbourne Cup but raced flat and finished 12th.
Owner Lloyd Williams has stated that as long as the horse pulls up okay he will run in the G2 Zipping Classic at Sandown.
