Racing Victoria has solidified its spring carnival fixture with few alterations post Melbourne Cup Week.

While minor adjustments may occur leading up to the Caulfield Cup and Cox Plate events, the schedule largely mirrors previous years.

Notable dates include the Thousand Guineas and Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes at Caulfield on November 16, followed by the Cranbourne Cup on November 23.

The Zipping Classic at Caulfield on November 30 and the Ballarat Cup on December 7 are also highlights.

Neil Bainbridge, CEO of Southside Racing, expressed satisfaction with the Ladbrokes Cranbourne Cup’s inclusion in the spring carnival and welcomed the stand-alone Pakenham Cup.

While aspirations for a “Southside Carnival” are on the horizon, plans for a $1 million Cranbourne Cup remain a future goal.

Additionally, a unique race is scheduled for Good Friday night at Cranbourne, aimed at showcasing Southside Racing talent while supporting the Good Friday Appeal.
