Southside Racing is set to illuminate Saturday nights in Victoria with four trial meetings at Cranbourne in the upcoming racing calendar.
CEO Neil Bainbridge expressed enthusiasm, stating, “We’ve been a big supporter of it and have been looking for the opportunity now for a couple of years.”
The initiative, supported by Racing Victoria, aims to engage communities and enhance customer experience during prime summer months.
Scheduled for late December and January, these events promise both thrilling races and high-quality entertainment.
Bainbridge highlighted the potential for fan engagement and increased wagering activity, envisioning a future where major races could be held under lights.
“I think it’s an opportunity for the industry,” he remarked.
