Group 1 winning jockey Teo Nugent is set to return to racing on October 9 after a six-month break due to a neck fracture sustained in March.
The 25-year-old, who has 343 wins to his name, has been recovering and is now back at trackwork and riding jumpouts.
Despite the severity of his injury, Nugent is excited and has no concerns about his return.
Doctors are satisfied with his healing, giving him confidence in his upcoming races.
Nugent, who began his career in 2017, secured his biggest win with the Group 1 Oakleigh Plate in 2021.
