Last year’s winner of the G2 The Ingham (1600m) Kirwan’s Lane ($26) is entered to be back to defend the title but faces in form runners across the board.

Big Dance winner Attractable ($15), Gong winner Detonator Jack ($5), Cranbourne Cup winner Charterhouse ($15), last week’s Festival Stakes winner Phearson ($26) and the Eclipse winner Just Folk ($26) are all down to get a run.

Nominations have been extended for the Listed Razor Sharp Handicap (1200m) with some speedy types like Insurrection ($3.50), Rocketing By ($9) and Recommendation ($5).

Some recent winners like Toesonthenose ($4) and Wineglass Bay ($5) will be a focus in the Listed ATC Cup (2000m) where we also may see some more new entries.

The Restricted Listed Inglis Nursery (1000m) only has five within the nominations who have even started but Blue Stratum was a close second in the Maribyrnong Plate.

Every chance we get a full line up in the Listed Balllarat Cup (2000m) with plenty entered. Ain’Tnodeeldun ($6) chases four on the trot, Derby winner Warning ($15) seems to have returned well and Young Werther ($6) finds the right class for him.

Perth hosts the last of the majors for the year with the running of the G1 Northerly Stakes (1800m). High quality horse Zaaki ($2.50) has ventured west to take on Railway winner Bustler ($11), Tulloch Lodge’s Zoumon ($11) and Guineas winner Zipaway ($9).
