James Cummings and Godolphin will have a strong hand in Perth’s feature sprint with three runners in the race.
The Godolphin trio of Trekking, Home Of The Brave and Viridine are among the 15 declarations for the $1 million Winterbottom Stakes (1200m) at Ascot on Saturday.
Trekking, to be ridden by Kerrin McEvoy, holds favouritism in Winterbottom Stakes odds at $3 for the Group One weight-for-age contest ahead of Home Of The Brave at $13 and Viridine at $17.
Damian Lane has been booked to ride Home Of The Brave with Damien Oliver aboard Viridine.
Barriers for the 15 runners will be drawn on Tuesday.
Eastern states sprinters have strong representation with the Tony and Calvin McEvoy-trained Hey Doc sharing the second line of betting at $7 with local sprinter Flirtini.
Also with dual representation in Saturday’s race is the Ciaron Maher and David Eustace stable with Dubious and Spirit Of Valour, rated $17 and $21 chances respectively.
