The nomination list for the 2017 Futurity Stakes has been extended by three for the Group One race at Caulfield.
There were only seven entries for Saturday’s 1400m contest when nominations closed on Monday.
Entries were extended until 10am on Wednesday with Attention, Fast ‘N’ Rocking and Tavago joining Black Heart Bart, Lucky Hussler, Turn Me Loose, Palentino, He’s Our Rokki, Ecuador and Tosen Stardom.
The nominations include six Group One winners.
Tavago has also been entered for the Group One Chipping Norton Stakes at Randwick on Saturday and a potential clash with champion mare Winx while Fast ‘N’ Rocking is also nominated for the Oakleigh Plate (1100m), in which he ran third two years ago.
Attention, trained by Peter and Paul Snowden, is aiming to become the first three-year-old since All Too Hard in 2013 to win.
In early markets Black Heart Bart is the $1.80 favourite to follow up his success in the C F Orr Stakes over the same journey on February 11.
