Three racehorses trained by a prominent Victoria racing stable have died following a crash in southeastern Victoria.
The incident occurred around 9:50am on Monday on Tynong-Bayles Road in Bayles, involving a Toyota Land Cruiser towing a horse trailer.
Two horses died at the scene, while a third, suffering severe injuries, was euthanised.
TheΒ Herald Sun has reported the horses were trained by the Moody Racing stable.
The 42-year-old driver from Yallourn North was unharmed and is expected to face driving charges.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
