Bowman free to ride on Epsom Handicap day

Hugh Bowman has successfully appealed the severity of a seven-meeting suspension imposed by Racing NSW following his ride on High Mist at Warwick Farm on Wednesday last week.

Bowman was set to miss the three Group One races on Epsom Handicap day however on appeal the suspension was reduced to a 6 meeting varied suspension.

The reduced sentence allows Bowman to ride on Epsom Handicap day, the premier meeting of the Sydney Spring Carnival.

The Group 1 Epsom Handicap is the feature event alongside the $750,000 The Metropolitan and the $500,000 Flight Stakes.
