Patinack Farm trainer Jason Coyle has declared his intentions to push onto the Caulfield Guineas with Golden Rose runner-up Trusting.
Coyle, pictured, said the exciting three-year-old has come through three weeks of consecutive racing in fine style and taken no ill affects from the workload.
“He’s had a couple of quiet days since Saturday and I cannot fault him,†Coyle said at Randwick on Wednesday.
“He’s shown me no signs as to why we shouldn’t push on.â€
Coyle said the colt would remain in Sydney and run in the Group II Stan Fox (1400m) on September 26 before venturing to Melbourne for his spring grand final in the $1 million Group I Caulfield Guineas on October 10.
“He’ll go three weeks into the Stan Fox and then we’ll go south for the Guineas,†he said.
“More than likely after the Guineas that will be it.â€
