A typhoon could ruin the plans of two top jockeys who have rides in the 2016 Manikato Stakes and Cox Plate.
Joao Moreira has been booked to ride Vadamos in the 2016 Cox Plate on Saturday while Sam Clipperton has a ride on English in the Manikato Stakes on Friday night.
The Hong Kong Jockey Club will make a call later today on whether the jockeys will be permitted to ride in Melbourne this weekend.
