Joao Moreira will ride Vadamos in the Cox Plate
Damien Oliver has ridden French horse Vadamos in a work-out at Moonee Valley ahead of the Cox Plate.
Vadamos galloped over 1500 metres, speeding up over the final 800 and running the last 400 in 23.63 seconds.
Oliver misses the ride on Saturday through suspension with Hong Kong’s champion jockey Joao Moreira to take the mount.
