Professional punter Steve Bradley has tried to back the 2023 Melbourne Cup favourite to collect $2million dollars at today’s Call Of The Card at Crown.

Bradley who is notorious for his massive bets at the call of the card tried to have $400,000 on favourite Vauban to wins tomorrows Melbourne Cup although was knocked back by most bookies managing only to get $320,000 on the horse at odds of $5.00 and $4.80.

Rob Waterhouse was the only bookmaker who accepted the $100,000 wager at $5.00 on the favourite with the other three bookies on the stand either declining the bet or only accepting a smaller amount.
