It isn’t that all often you look at a horse and go ‘wow’.
It normally only occurs in the presence of a particularly magnificent individual … or, with a horse whose appearance is so different to the general norm, in the positive sense, that it comes across as spectacular.
And when it is a foal … ‘wow’.
A filly born in October, out of the white coloured mare Utzon who, in turn is out The Opera House, another white mare, falls into the ‘simply spectacular’ category.
The filly in question is Utzon’s third foal and what made her arrival so much more breath-taking was that Utzon’s two pervious foals were bays.
This foal, who was sired by Alabama Express, is white, white, white!
“The Alabama Express-Utzon filly really catches your eye due to her unique colour, but her physique, like many by her sire, is also eye-catching. She’s a lovely foal,” Yulong’s Sam Fairgray told Racing.com.
Doubtless she will continue to turn heads as she progresses to different venues as she moves through her racing career.
Racing.com reports that Utzon is now back in foal to Alabama Express.
