Race 1 8:45pm Synthetic Allowance 1700m
Off this draw the filly LADIES NITE should kick up[ and find a good spot with cover. That will make her hard to hold out late. ABOVE ALL NAMES has talent but is a little in and out. Can place. MONNLIGHT RAIN gets in with limit weight and has the form to trouble these.

Race 2 9:15am Turf 1700m
FIRE FOR EFFECT has wheels enough for this level. Rails draw is a big help too and has the top rider on board. ARTISTICO is racing well enough in better company to be considered here. Probably slots in from this gate and gets the gun run. WHERE’S THE WIDGET has been around a bit but from here drops back, finds cover and is likely to finish hard.

Race 3 9:43am Synthetic 1000m
Plenty of early speed here. The visitor from Winnipeg to Toronto for trainer Penny Hulme, LADY GUSTO, has a lot of dash and should put herself into a winning spot from the get go. Is stakes placed back in the Peg. JENNY’S VICTORY is racing well enough to be strongly considered. If she steps she will vie for the front all the way. PIQUET will love the speed early. She’ll sit off them and come very hard. Fascinating race.

Race 4 10:15am Turf 1700m
LYRICAL NOTE has drawn well and is a player here. Many things are on his side. He has wheels. REDOUTE’S LIGHT has an Aussie connection being by the great Redoute’s Choice. And his form rates highly enough to win this. TOWN CRUISE was on turf last start and went really well after covering ground in tougher race. Big show.

Race 5 10:45am Synthetic Allowance 1200m
WANDOFUHR will be backed here because of the draw and the fact he drive hard early. Has talent. STORMFUHR deserves a win. He’s been runner up at this level past few and should slot into the one, one here and kick hard late. CORDUROY ROAD is a last start winner this grade but on turf. If he handles the synthetic, he is a big player.

Race 6 11:15am Synthetic 1000m
Like so many tonight, the rails draw will suit SYSTEMIC RISK a lot here. Will punch up. CALL ME MRS. G is very fast and should vie for the lead. Has good stats, with her synthetic form impressive enough. Big contender. SPANISH BALLERINA might find it tough from out here but has class enough to bother these if she gets cover.

Race 7 11:43am Synthetic 1200m
DREAMIN ON A CLOUD is getting up a bit in the weights but is consistent and good enough to lead all the way here. MY CANTATA won a really weak race easily last start. Up in class here but is in form. FLORIST is always around the money at this level.

Race 8 12:12pm Turf 1700m
BENEVIDA is in a purple patch of form and looks nicely placed again. AILIS is in a strong stable and should sit just behind them then come late. AMIENS has been strongly supported overnight and has been working the house down.
