Saigon may try to maintain his 100 per cent record in the Richmond Stakes at Glorious Goodwood on Friday week.
The Group Two contest is the first race trainer James Toller is likely to consider for the Royal Applause colt, who is two out of two after a battling success in the Listed Rose Bowl Stakes at Newbury.
“There are no definite plans, but it is possible I will give him an entry for the Richmond at Goodwood,” the Newmarket handler said.
“I’ll see how he is on the day that race closes, but he’d be no more than a possible at this stage.
“There’s no rush and we’ve got to be happy with him before we do anything else.
“That’s the first possible thing we will consider and beyond that I haven’t really looked but there are races later in the year.
“It’s just a question of how we want to take him. I don’t want to go mad and overrace him this year but equally we don’t want to miss the boat either.
“We’re just weighing up our options at the moment.
“He seems to have a good attitude and he seems to take his racing really very well. It’s early days, but it’s so far so good.”
