Thorndon Mile winner Stolen Dance retired

Stolen Dance will bow out a Group One winner with the decision made to immediately retire the pregnant mare on the back of her victory in the Thorndon Mile.

She left the Cambridge stable of Murray Baker and Andrew Forsman on Monday, two days after her win at Trentham.

β€œShe went off this morning,” Baker told NZ Racing Desk.

β€œIt was a really satisfying win. She’s a valuable broodmare now.”

Stolen Dance is in foal to Tavistock and her owner Gerald Shand decided not to push on to the Herbie Dyke Stakes.

She retires with 10 wins and seven placings from her 28 starts.
