Winx will not target next years Melbourne Cup
There has been some speculation surrounding Winx and a possible tilt at next years Melbourne Cup but that was put to rest this morning.
Owner Peter Tighe was quick to squash any speculation that Winx could line-up in next years Melbourne Cup Field this morning saying that connections are “not Interested in the Melbourne Cup”.

Trainer Chris Waller was asked at a media conference this morning what Winx’s target races will be next year in which he stated she will likely return to the races in February with an overseas trip on the cards sometime next year.
