9 Tilia (Bet Now: $4.40) for me in an open 2YO race. This girl trialled over 800m at the Gold Coast last Monday. She was back, green and raw, but in the straight, she lengthened really nicely late in a good piece of work. I think she’ll be quite strong late and gets the claim for Lang.

6 Formula Rossa (Bet Now: $6.00) is a Spirit Of Boom filly for Tony Gollan that debuts and she does look prepped up to run really well off the back of a trial win at the Gold Coast last Monday when winning and running good time in winning the trial. Bred to be a handy one and trialled as such so watch the market.

2 Cuddles For Kimmy (Bet Now: $10.00) is the one with hard race experience/fitness on her side. She ran two weeks back at Eagle Farm where I was quite keen on her and despite being held up at times, she seemingly had her chance and was a bit on the plain side. Not sure she wins, but is one for exotics.

10 Aerial Dancer (Bet Now: $3.40) has a good record at the Sunny Coast and comes here in winning form after winning two weeks ago at Eagle Farm where she got into a dream spot just off the speed before angling clear and finished best to score. Good racing style, has found winning form again, she can go on with it.

5 Bullion Boy (Bet Now: $3.80) has found winning form for Lindsay Gough and he can go on with it. That win came a few weeks ago over 1400m at Eagle Farm when getting the sweet sit in transit just off the speed before angling clear and finished best to win well. He’s flying this prep and commands respect here.

11 Indy Rose Warrior (Bet Now: $10.00) will put herself on speed and run another positive race, as seen two weeks back at Eagle Farm over 1800m, trying her guts out but just couldn’t quite see it through behind Kerchak. I think with a more patient steer, she’ll be far more effective, and this isn’t a deep contest.

5 Bews (Bet Now: $3.70) looks like he is enjoying life under the care of Stuart Kendrick. First run for the stable came three weeks ago over 1200m at Doomben where he got into a decent spot just off the speed. Just a matter of getting clear air and once he got it, he dashed to score. Home track advantage, good improvement to come, rates highly.

6 Tara Jasmine (Bet Now: $19.00) is racing like 1200m suits. Iron mare that is racing in pretty good form at the moment, her latest run being over 1000m at Eagle Farm where she got off the speed and worked home well late in the piece behind Safework. Better set up here IMO and she can take this out.

9 American President (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looked completely cast but he found form out of nowhere two weeks back when leading throughout and winning at Eagle Farm when getting control and found under pressure to fend them off and win. With that racing style, he gives himself every chance. Just needs to hold his form.

5 Thesecondatportsea (Bet Now: $9.00) is a track/distance winner and is racing well for Jack Bruce. He ran on Cup Day at Eagle Farm when off the speed and while he was never threatening, he kept chasing in a good effort behind Rock Ya. Good record at the Sunny Coast, he’s hard to beat I say.

7 Indy Rose Warrior (Bet Now:  $SP.00) will put herself on speed and run another positive race, as seen two weeks back at Eagle Farm over 1800m, trying her guts out but just couldn’t quite see it through behind Kerchak. 14 Umeteni (Bet Now: $16.00) is an improver for Stuart Kendrick. He ran over the mile two weeks back at Eagle Farm where he just got a bit too far out of his ground and was never a factor behind Aerial Dancer. He is trained on the track and has run well at the track/distance previously. One of the leading contenders.

12 Miss Joelene (Bet Now: $3.90) commands respect for Kelly Schweida after resuming over 1350m at Doomben three weeks back where she tried hard from off the speed but bumped into a good one, Navyonthehighway, who ran super in Sydney last Saturday, so the form reads very well and fitter, up to 1400m, she takes beating.

9 Transatlantic (Bet Now: $2.90) is a nice horse for Tony Gollan. He resumed at Eagle Farm a fortnight back over 1200m where he lobbed into a beaut spot on speed and was there to win but couldn’t quite finish the job behind Epic Proportions, finishing third. Good set up for him here I feel, up to 1400m, and with a more patient steer, he’ll be hard to hold out.

13 Ocean Zar (Bet Now: $5.50) looks to have returned pretty well for Matty Hoysted. This mare resumed over 1400m two weeks ago at Eagle Farm where the race shape was against her but she kept on and was good in defeat behind American President. Better for the run under the belt, she appeals.

10 Our Magnus (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is bursting to win and surely he gets a great chance here. On speed over this trip two weeks ago at Eagle Farm and tried hard but couldn’t quite get there when second to American President. Racing well, nearing a win and he gets another golden opportunity.

8 Substantial (Bet Now: $4.00) commands respect for Tony Gollan. Strong winner two back before racing a fortnight back and was good from off the speed but just couldn’t quite get there behind Flying Trapzeze. Looks hard to beat against this lot in what looks a winnable assignment.

4 American President (Bet Now: $34.00) looked completely cast but he found form out of nowhere two weeks back when leading throughout and winning at Eagle Farm when getting control and found under pressure to fend them off and win. With that racing style, he gives himself every chance. Just needs to hold his form.

8 Moon Sweeper (Bet Now: $7.00) is a good mover for Matty Dunn and he could put his hand up for better races with a forward showing here. He debuted over 1200m at Lismore where he looked a good thing on paper and duly saluted, bolting up and was quite impressive in good time. Confident he measures up and can win.

3 Apuntar (Bet Now: $4.20) comes back to 1400m after racing over 1500m at Eagle Farm a fortnight back. He tried his guts out and was quite game in defeat but had no answers late for the finale of Our Benefactor. Like him back in trip and the win prior, that sees him as one of the hardest to beat against these.

1 Beau Dazzler (Bet Now: $11.00) is an interesting runner. Team Sears trained colt that resumes, having not raced since the JJ Atkins when back and wide but kept finding the line and was solid enough in defeat behind Broadsiding. He’s had two trials to get ready for the return so the grounding is there and 1400m fresh signals intent.

5 Brookhaven (Bet Now: $7.00) looks to have returned really well and should love the rise to the mile after resuming over 1400m two weeks ago at Eagle Farm where he got back in the run but closed off with purpose in a strong return behind Flying Trapeze. Fitter and up to the mile, good upside to come, he rates highly.

1 Junipal (Bet Now: $5.50) is the class factor and that will carry him a long way. Ciaron Maher trained gelding that has won two on the bounce, the latest being four weeks ago over 1800m at Eagle Farm when finishing best to score. He’s found a new lease of life in QLD and is hard to beat.

2 Dune Forty Five (Bet Now: $15.00) is capable with his best. He resumed behind Flying Trapeze two weeks back at Eagle Farm. He got back and was never a factor but did make up some headway and wasn’t too bad in defeat. Might need another run and a further rise in trip, but his best is more than good enough to give this a shake at odds.

5 Steady Ready (Bet Now: $4.50) is a short course specialist for Team Sears that resumes. This guy is first up, having not raced since June 8 when a strong winner of the Lightning. He flies fresh and has been prepped up with several sharp trial wins, so for mine, he’s ready to go, and if indeed that is the case, he’s too good.

2 Cannonball (Bet Now: $13.00) is one of the more fascinating runners on the program. Formerly with Team Snowden, he’s now with Tony Gollan. He hasn’t raced since the Gold Rush at Hawkesbury last year when off the speed and was never a factor behind Parisal. Now with Gollan, trialled up very well and I believe this is the first horse Gollan has trained for James Harron, so he’ll want to have this horse ready to rock and roll.

10 Reliable Ruby (Bet Now: $19.00) saves her best for the track/distance and commands some level of respect. Didn’t disgrace herself two weeks back at Eagle Farm. She got into a decent spot off the speed and tried hard but just couldn’t quite see it through behind Safework. Back to where she races best, she can take this out.

16 Miss Moneypenny (Bet Now: $15.00) looks a sharp filly for the Neasham/Archibald camp and is one of the leading contenders. This girl debuted at this track/distance when giving them a start and a beating, launching late to finish best and was impressive. Stable is humming at present so for mine, this girl is hard to beat.

15 Zatanna (Bet Now: $8.00) looks suited back to 1000m and with her racing style, she’ll give herself every chance I feel. She attempted to lead throughout over 1110m at Doomben three weeks ago and gave a good sight but just couldn’t quite see it through. Back to 1000m, right racing style, takes beating.

4 Kahlisee (Bet Now: $9.00) is a Team Munce trained filly that is first up. Her last run came on Sep 7 at Doomben over 1110m when on speed and just felt the pinch late behind Mishani Lily. I think 1000m is her go in life and her recent trial at Eagle Farm was good. Her best is good enough.

NEXT BEST: Race Five Number 12 Miss Joelene

LONG SHOT: Race One Number 9 Tilia
