Keith Noud Quality 🏆: View the Field and Odds for the Keith Noud Quality
Race 1. (13:07) Officiating At Aquis Hcp 1110m
1 Secret Sort (Bet Now: $3.70) will put himself on speed and take running down, which is what he did on debut at Doomben and tried his guts out but just couldn’t quite see it through, run down late by Cuddles For Kimmy. Good racing style and that will be suited here I think. He’ll look the winner for a long way.
6 Canoodling (Bet Now: $2.15) will jump on the bunny and take running down after debuting a fortnight back at this track/distance when attempting to lead throughout and gave a strong kick but had no answers for Betterlucknexttime. Better for the run under the belt, she’ll be around the mark.
3 Mr Democrat (Bet Now: $3.30) is a Better Than Ready gelding for Jack Bruce that is on debut. He’s had two trials in readiness for start one, the latest trial coming last week at Deagon on Oct 29 when winning over 1050m and ran decent enough time. Good grounding for this, watch the market.
Race 2. (13:42) Xxxx (Bm75) 2200m
3 Hiawatha (Bet Now: $6.00) is a real stayer that wants ground so 2200m here is ideal after resuming over 2000m at Kembla where he got back off the speed and took a while to wind into his work but was good late in the piece behind Kind Words. Fitter and up to 2200m, he only runs well.
6 Aldeenaary (Bet Now: $3.40) is racing well and looks suited up to 2200m after racing over 2000m here last time out when off the speed and kept chasing in a really good effort when second to New Joy. Third up, hard fit and up to 2200m, he rates as one of the leading contenders.
1 Applications (Bet Now: $31.00) is an improver at odds. He is four weeks between runs since racing over 1800m at Eagle Farm when down the track and a bit on the plain side behind Hyde. Tick over trial was pretty good, he’s suited up in trip and his best is more than good enough.
Race 3. (14:22) Congratulations Symons & Laxon (Rs0mw) 1350m
2 Metalart (Bet Now: $3.20) looks ready to win for Kelly Schweida. He ran over 1200m here two weeks ago where he got too far back in the run but really liked the way he finished his race off in defeat I thought behind Bews. Like him up to 1350m and if he can settle closer, he takes a power of beating.
15 Torabella (Bet Now: $6.00) is an improver for Tony Gollan. She resumed at Eagle Farm three weeks ago over 1200m when doing too much work to land on speed and just felt the pinch when down the track, pulling up post race with Heat Stress. She’s a good horse when right and appears well suited.
3 Brentwood (Bet Now: $16.00) is nearing D-Day I feel. He was a bit on the plain side two weeks back at Eagle Farm I thought after getting every chance in behind, he didn’t really finish the race off. He’s a good horse when right and third up, I think he’s ready to go and can take this out.
Race 4. (15:02) Congratulations Robbie Dolan (Bm68) 1350m
19 Andersen (Bet Now: $4.20) looks a three year old on up and confident he can make it three on the bounce. Dominant maiden win over 1200m at the Gold Coast two back before going to 1400m at Eagle Farm when leading throughout and gave nothing else a look in. Good racing style, in form, hard to beat.
15 Ring Me Up (Bet Now: $14.00) is a Chris Waller trained mare that resumes. This girl is first up, having not raced since June 14 when winning over 2200m at the Sunny Coast. 1350m is on the short side for her but she’s trialled well leading in and overall, this isn’t a deep contest.
13 Glorious Ruby (Bet Now: $35.00) hasn’t won in a little while but she is a mare who does have city class ability. She ran over 1200m at Eagle Farm last time out where she got off the speed and tried hard but lacked the killer blow late in the piece behind Troika. Not sure she wins, but she can run top three.
Race 5. (15:42) Congratulations Knight's Choice Plate (C3) 1615m
3 El Pensador (Bet Now: $6.50) is the straight bat play. Rex Lipp trained gelding that ran here two weeks ago when off the speed and chased with purpose but had to settle for a second to impressive winner Merchant Flyer. Good track/distance record, gets the claim and finds a winnable race.
6 Quothquan (Bet Now: $3.60) looks suited up in trip. He was four weeks between runs and back to 1350m from the mile when racing here a fortnight back and closed his race strongly when second to in form galloper Navyonthehighway. Back in positive form, rates highly.
7 Rashford (Bet Now: $18.00) is racing well and is a definite threat. Won over 1350m at Ipswich two back before going to this track/distance where he got back in the run but closed off with purpose in a good effort when fourth. If he can settle closer and get room to wind up, he’s dangerous.
Race 6. (16:22) Moreton Hire (Bm68) 1110m
6 Taltarni Fields (Bet Now: $4.20) is a key chance. Market wanted him with confidence when racing over this track/distance two weeks ago and under a confident steer from Cejay, he was much too good and was impressive. That followed sharp trial work so he’s returned well and finds another winnable race.
5 Busting (Bet Now: $8.00) is a fascinating runner. Tony Gollan trained five year old that resumes, having not raced since June 16 last year when down the track over 1000m at the Sunny Coast behind track/distance specialist Bring Me Kash. Trial work has been solid enough and he does have quality. Market will be the guide as to how fit he is.
4 Writtle (Bet Now: $23.00) has to lump the weight but he does have an element of class on his side. He ran over 800m at Ipswich last time when wide throughout and did too much work, tiring to finish down the track. Up in trip, more economical run in transit, I am not penning him.
Race 7. (17:02) Keith Noud Qlty 1200m
3 Bubba’s Bay (Bet Now: $4.60) is absolutely flying for Kris Lees and has earned a crack at this kind of race. She has won her past two, both over 1200m, the latest coming at Eagle Farm three weeks ago when leading throughout, getting complete control and was far too good for them. Good test here, but confident she can measure up.
9 Nashira (Bet Now: $8.50) is four weeks between runs for O’Dea/Hoysted since racing over 1000m at Eagle Farm. He was a notable drifter in betting and ran accordingly when off the speed and just whacked to the line late in the piece behind Wanda Rox. Think that could have been second up syndrome so look for a third up bounce back.
6 Miss Hellfire (Bet Now: $8.00) comes here with fresh legs for the Neasham/Archibald camp, having not raced since resuming in The Nivison when off the speed and kept finding the line in a good return behind Olentia. Fitter, tick over trial was good and she does have the talent to run a positive race.
Race 8. (17:38) Eva Air (Bm85) 1615m
4 Logan Street Lion (Bet Now: $15.00) is dangerous here and has a touch of quality when right. He is three weeks between runs since racing over 1800m at Eagle Farm when off the speed and kept chasing but had his chance overall I thought behind Junipal. Back to this level, back in trip, he’s hard to beat.
5 Living Free (Bet Now: $7.50) is flying for Adam Campton and commands some level of respect. He has won three on the bounce, the latest win being over this track/distance two weeks ago when getting the suck run in behind before angling clear and knuckled down with purpose late to win. Hard to beat once again.
8 Clyde (Bet Now: $12.00) doesn’t win out of turn but he has returned in pretty good order. He comes through the Kronenbourg race from a few weeks back where he presented to win after getting a good run in transit but couldn’t quite see it through. Like him with the upside and will be strong late.
Race 9. (18:15) Empire Of Japan Hcp 1200m
2 Mister Bianco (Bet Now: $16.00) is a good horse for Paul Shailer and I think he can resume with a win. He is first up, having not raced since Aug 24 here when racing over 1350m and kept chasing in a good effort behind Tessatori. Resumes without a public trial but is genuine and should be strong late, plus has class.
4 Boomtown Boss (Bet Now: $5.50) resumed with a strong win over 1110m here two weeks ago, heavily backed with the lightweight and under a confident steer from Lang, he drove hard late to finish best and get the job done. The rise to 1200m, I think, is okay, and is one of the hardest to beat.
5 Estrondo (Bet Now: $26.00) comes back to 1200m after racing over 1400m three weeks back at Eagle Farm where he got too far back and although he did make up ground, he was never really a factor behind Apuntar. Back to 1200m, he’ll be spotting them a start but should be strong late.
Race 10. (18:45) Ladbrokes Bet Ticker (Bm78) 1200m
8 Majestic Boom (Bet Now: $12.00) is a Spirit Of Boom gelding that resumes for Lawrie Mayfield-Smith. This guy is first up, having not raced since July 6 at the Sunny Coast when finding a bog track and he couldn’t pick his feet up in the conditions behind Punch Lane. Much better suited on top of the ground and his trial to get ready was pretty good.
7 Hell (Bet Now: $2.60) is humming for Nick Walsh so keen to see how he goes here. Sevral weeks between runs since an all the way win at Eagle Farm, leading throughout and he gave nothing else a look in to win quite impressively. Good test here in a harder race but hard to knock the way he’s racing and will look the winner for a long way.
4 Release The Beans (Bet Now: $SP.00) has found positive form and he can certainly go on with it. He ran over 1200m at Eagle Farm last time when off the speed and kept chasing in a really good effort behind Troika. He has a good record at Doomben and this isn’t an overly deep contest.
