We take an indepth look into todays A.D. Hollindale Stakes at the Gold Coast.The race certainly looks to only have a few contenders which have the form and ability to win it, the short priced favourite Road To Rock is definaitely the one to beat after winning in style in the Queen Elizabeth, barrier 3 will give him a perfect sit about 4th-6th on the rails.
Possibly the class runner of the field Metal Bender looks to have started his return to racing in great fashion finishing only 5 lengths off them in the All Ages stakes won by Hot Danish, the tempo was slow and the distance was always going to be too short but the step up today to the 1800m will suit and speed should be on thanks to Rockdale and Gold Water.
The only other runner we think could play a part in the finish would be Gold Water, depending on how the track is playing if it seems to be a leaders track she would be worth a bet at odds. Should sit 2nd-3rd outside of Rockdale and usually has a good kick in the turn.
