Racing returns to the ‘Nursery of Champions’ on Wednesday which sees the running of the $203,500 Listed Bendigo Cup. Just Horse Racing have analaysed the pace in the race and have come up with an easy to read speed map with the field of 13 featured below.
Analysis: It looks like man of the moment Craig Williams will have to work some magic from the wide gate on Dream Pedlar as we have him posted wide midfield. Craig could easily push forward to sit outside the lead but there are a few on pace runners who will make things difficult. Going back could end in disaster when push comes to shove. The Lloyd Williams pair of At First Sight and Tanby should get beautiful runs one off the fence. As always, they look mighty hard to beat. Last start Cranbourne Cup winner Boom ‘N’ Zoom will have to come from the rear of the field again but the likely solid tempo should assist.
Tipping: At First Sight to bounce back here after a couple of setbacks. The early money has already come for him and he looks well placed here and of course maps superbly.
